Thanks for pointing this out! I was so close to buying a lightning to usb 3 camera adapter yesterday at full price. I wanted to sleep on it to decide if I really needed it. $7 off makes that choice a little easier.
be careful with „original“ adapters bought on Amazon. There are lots of fakes (looking almost the same) that will just not work as reliably...
Ideally, you should get the CCK Adapter that includes the extra lightning power port to keep the iPad/IPhone charged for long sessions. It costs a lot more but you'll never regret having that power option.
+100 to that. Gotta have that power connection. Otherwise, you're a slave to the iPad battery.
Ageeed, I got burned twice by this when they looks like official Apple products. Lots of counterfeit ones out there sadly.
I tend to buy all apple products directly from Apple physical store or website just to be sure. Exception could be AirPods Pro with nice Amazon offering.
