Thanks for the news. Waiting for the Bus.
Dev says he's looking into both AB and IAA.
If anyone is interested in the Conway's Life thing there is this which has MIDI out.

Quincy does look a lot more sophisticated though and will be interesting when the dev adds AB.
After 20 minutes I can say Quincy is impressive. The Dev is very responsive and open to feedback. This is going to be a winner.
OK, you've talked me into it @mggm4871
Btw, Xyntheszr also has a great Conway's Game of Life feature.
Just watched the video. What is this Wizardry.
Liking Xynthesizr as well, especially for the reason firejan82 stated above.
It seems Quincy is not able to control other apps via midi??
Is this an intro price while features are trying to be implemented?
.
Here's the manual. Amazing wizardry David.

Yeah, I already read it, it says midi over wifi. But nothing about core or such. Just wondering if it's worth (to me) the asking price. Maybe I missed it, I'll reread.
Here's the video. Well, not showing up, maybe because it's Vimeo.

Um
Edit: ok thanks
Yeah, I took the http:// out because the link wouldn't show up with it. Just add that to what's in my last post.
This is from Dev. On ipad musicians FB page. I invited him here also.
Arthur Roolfs Again - thanks for having me here. Couple of words regarding Quincy. We hadn’t really thought of it as something that would interest iPad musicians. A colossal oversight on our part and something that will be addressed. From the various comments I understand that there is a need for IAA and/or Audiobus and virtual MIDI just right off the top. We will be looking into that. We had these on our far list of features to implement have now moved them all the way to the top. I would welcome anyone to send in possible of usage scenarios. That would be a big help.
I will contact our translation service regarding the gibberish translation. My apologies. BTW: You can switch the app to work in English if that is any better.
Regarding the issues on the iPad 3, and iPhone 5c, please let us know what the exact problem is. We are always available at [email protected] and there is a “Report a bug” link in the about box. Please be descriptive, as there are many settings in the app. We are testing on both the 5c and the iPad 3, so we should be able to replicate any issues you are having.
As for the buggyness of apps on initial launch I can only speak for myself and we tested the heck out of Quincy. But we test usage scenarios and sometimes developers are surprised by what people end up doing in the real world. Thanks for seeing also the potential of the app. Let us know what doesn’t work and we’ll fix it and feature requests are always welcome.

So anymore feedback on this app?
Looks cool but nobody's talking about it

probably because at this point there is no AB or IAA support, and it only supports MIDI over wi-fi. i'm interested in it, but i'm not biting until at least virtual/core/external MIDI are added.
It's actually a awesome app. As the Dev said, IOS intergration with other apps were not in the framework, and he was surprised by IOS musicians attention. I'll be testing for him, so I'll keep you updated.
any word on whether this app will be getting core MIDI, so that it can be used with a wired connection? I'm so close to pulling the trigger but...
Quincy got Audiobus and IAA at least (even if no Core MIDI), so I took the plunge with and I must say that I'm happy I finally did.
Most of my initial tests with Quincy were very simple -- loading up Quincy, then sequencing one synth, like Tera. Today I decided to try Quincy with Audiobus and I ran into the following issues/situations.
Issue 1: Quincy seems to go to "sleep" when it is loaded into the Audiobus Input slot and I change to another app that's also loaded into Audiobus. When Quincy is brought back into focus, it wakes up. This outcome occurs even when Background Mode in Quincy is on. Quincy went to sleep when I had it and Tera loaded in the Audiobus Input slot and Audioshare in the output slot.
Issue 2: The problem with Quincy going to "sleep" may be connected to effects being added into the FX slot in Audiobus. I noticed that when I added Crystalline in the FX slot with Tera and Quincy in the Input slot Quincy immediately cut out. Even after I removed Crystalline, Quincy stopped.
I think the problem is specifically related to Audiobus because when I loaded Tera into Audioshare as an IAA, everything worked fine (including loading Crystalline into an FX slot in Audioshare).
Has anyone else run into similar problems? @mgmg4871 ?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Update 14 nov add supports IOS 8 + AB 2, works fine on IOS 7.1.2
