  • Pretty useful, I can make a note of my chord progressions so that I don't have to try and figure them out again a few months later.

  • Very useful app, but I think I found a bug.

The audio signal doesn’t get distorted when curse words are entered.

I even tried the F word with the largest font, but still, not even a little bit of overdrive.

    Please fix this.

you must read description carefully. this app doesn't affect the signal passing through

Sometimes when I’m trying to make people laugh, jokes backfire and I look like an idiot to those who don’t get it.

Maybe they didn't get it or maybe they continued the joke?

Either way, the app is very useful, but deep down, I really wish that curse words activated various types of distortion and the font size increases the amount

Perhaps you did already but have you tried using cursive?

Ironically curses only look better in capital letters. The queen probably curses in cursive though.

  • need state saving option for notes to a specific channel

  • I’m a little confused about how this app works with regard to its self-touted “notes database”. Does that mean I can create a note in this plugin while working in, say, Cubasis 3 and then load that same note in AUM or AB3 or NS2 or GB?

Hoping ya’ll say yes. Otherwise, Mozaic works well enough for my caveman note taking needs on a per host/project basis. Not that I’d say no to a new markdown+CSS-based Mozaic UI layout panel. :)

Especially if you could enter and render notes based on the host’s timeline. Because, hey oh! Would be a natural fit for lyrics, obvi, but also for “fix this bit” and/or “increase the feedback level for this next section” and/or “send the next four bars out the iPad speaker while the iPad is sitting in the oven and capture the output with that weird $13 mic you got suckered into buying off Craigslist. Also, clean the damn oven. Gross.”

    Yes.

Tested in AUM, Drambo and Multitrack DAW.

  • Honestly, it's a great idea but I lost some notes and it wasn't user error but some glitch in the app. That's the biggest deal breaker for me right now. Might be only on my iPad for some reason but that's my experience so far. I'm also not a fan of the save system in general and the way that there is only one list that gets shared in all projects. I rather have a system to decide what I want to see in all projects and what notes to have on a per project basis. The way the note database is set up now I rather not use it at all as it'll get unwieldly pretty fast with a couple (or even one) notes per project. I really hope this sees improvements on those fronts.
Web AU on the other hand has been pretty great so far. It's pretty great to have a browser in AUM or a DAW and while not essential I think it's convenient for quick referencing and works as expected. Haven't lost any bookmarks so far either :)

  • Does anyone have this?
I'd like to know if it loads as an Instrument (not desirable) or an effect (desirable) in AUM.

I just had a terrible AUM crash and Animoog forgot its instruments, and Enzo lost its playback speeds for loops.
So, I'd like to have 'notes' per channel loaded as an auv3 in an effects slot, so I can document which presets and key params I'm using.

It loads in an effect slot.

But I don't think it'll be appropriate for what you want to do. It's not flexible in that way. It lets you create a bunch of notes, but it doesn't save which note you created in the instance. You just end up with a big list of notes that you can recall by tapping on them. I had hopes for this one, but I can't think of anything it would be good for. I deleted it.

I assume you know AUM has the ability to create a note associated with a session. You'd have to organize it by channel and it wouldn't be with he channel itself, but at least it's something. It's under the hamburger menu.

  • Thanks for the speedy reply, yes I'm using the AUM project notes for now. Would rather put it per channel, but unless any other ideas I'll stick with the project notes I guess.

  • That’s a project I wish I had the programming chops to take on. It would be so useful.

Hi all, does this app support PDF files and have autoscroll feature? Both are not mentioned in the description:

EDIT: Answered by @espiegel123 - no PDF support.
