    Huh. Interesting...

Agreed! I was like, eh, do I really need another free electric piano? But then at that price I'm put into a corner, at once OUTRAGED and, um, sort of desperately wanting it. Did anybody bite?

  • Seems like this would be better as a 1.99 app with a single sound and then 1.99 in app purchases. Pay for (and download) only what you need. I don’t need another acoustic piano (or a clav) but I’m interested in the EPs if they’re efficient.

What’s PSP? Is it Auria only?

NeoSoul Keys sounds absolutely amazing but it’s not exactly easy on the resources. Think there’s definitely room for a “reasonably good” alternative.

PSP is Pure Synth Platinum, NSK's general instrument stablemate.

    Ah, right. Thank you.

  • I love Korg Module for my pianos

    Have you compared to Ravenscroft?

I haven’t tried Ravenscroft yet. I tend to only use the electric pianos (Rhodes, Clavinet, Wurlitzer, and Organ). I like that I get a lot in one app.

Is Ravenscroft as good as many say?

I did buy all Gospel Musicians stuff, but it’s only on my iPhone 12 Max 512 since my iPad 6 is only a 32gb. 😭 I can’t wait to buy a new iPad. I do manage to cram a lot on my iPad while avoiding most heavy storage hitters, except Korg Module.

I bought one of the paid pianos in Korg Module. I forget which one, and am not near my device to check, but I vastly prefer the sound of Ravenscroft. The standard piano that comes free with Korg Module is really poor quality imo. Very flat sounding. Ravenscroft for the win, for sure.

  • I'm by no means a piano player, but @Gavinski you are right with the sound of Module's pianos being flat. I feel every preset needs the release set much higher. Every piano sounds like somebody left a towel on the strings.

Yeah, shockingly bad! I can't believe I didn't request a refund back in the day for that grand piano IAP. Complete waste of 20 or 30 bucks or whatever it was that it cost.

😂 @Gavinski I see what you mean about Module! I switched back to Electric Vintage, less storage space needed and sounds great! I don’t really use acoustic piano sounds.

  • Definitely enjoying some of the synth sounds in module though. These Far North presets are really up my alley.

  • I own NeoSoul Studio and not interested in acoustic pianos or clarinets...mmmmmm

I also made a Drambo patch which I really like!
