BLEASS reverb vs shimmer
Quick question: i have bleass shimmer reverb, if i disable the pitch shifters will it sound exactly like bleass “regular” reverb? From the screenshots the controls look the same. I dont have the regular reverb for comparison maybe someone who does wants to do the experiment?

Hm, good question. I‘ll do a test later today.
Tried it, sounds different even with same settings. The shimmer has some strange artifact in the tail that doesn’t come out in the regular reverb. Wouldn’t recommend it to be honest.
I‘ll make a video and upload it if you want.
Thanks! Yeah video would be great if you’re in the mood to make one
Sure, here you go. This was put together pretty quick, but should do the work. I put way to much reverb onto the drums to show how it sounds.
i find the shimmer to be more on the silky side and the bleass reverb on the bright side ... very bright reverb, which can be a great counterpoint to the blackhole
