Whoa this looks so cool. My imagination is racing. A sunvox machine? A dosbox machine? A protracker dedicated setup? I'm into it.
I think a Zynthian is probably a better choice if audio or music is a big part of how you’d use it. Zynthian, like this Kickstarter project, is based on a Raspberry Pi. Zynthian has been around for several years, is proven but continues to develop, and has its own Linux distribution geared towards music production on the specialized Zynthian hardware. I just built a Zynthian a couple weeks ago; it’s a quality piece of hardware, haven’t put it to much use yet. Optimized for music production, but you can use it as a regular Raspberry Pi if you want.
