Can't find Pagefall manuals; are there any?
Thank you!
Greg
P.S. specifically for Ioniarics, autony and cality

As far as I recall dev preferred dropping descriptions here on demand.
You can try to tag in dev or ask just away...
O thanks. Ok here goes:
For Cality:
I'm using Cality in AUM.
1) is there a way to have the Velocity control be controlled by my keyboard input velocity?
2) Blur seems like a kind of stochastic distribution of the notes and sounds a little like Swing. Is this true?
3) Is Length the length of the notes in the cloud (which I assume), or the length of the Cloud itself?
4) for Distribution, Random and Normal seem almost the same. How are they different?
5) In Pitch, Root note doesn't seem to affect anything
6) I can figure out how Tempo Grid is different from Cloud resolution. Is it a quantize sort of function?
For Ioniarics:
1) How do the square Arp button relate to the circular Rise Fall Amount and Noise buttons?
2) What is Order in the Arp? I assume the order the notes were played in Toggle mode?
These are producing fantastic results and I feel weird that I don't understand why
Maybe i don't need to but I think it could only help in the long run...
Thank you @pagefall
Cality
1) Velocity can only be controlled by mapping it. You can gap that with a simple Mozaic script that converts velocity -> automation (or use something to modulate it StepBud, midiDREAMs)
2) Swing is constant offset, blur is more like random delay... but yes, both are to add human feel to it
3) Length of the notes. You set cloud length / ‘position’ with attack/release knobs.
4) -
5) Root works fine here. Make sure you select a ‘Scale’
6)Exactly, it is to quantize and to set dynamics.
Ioniarics (this will be cryptic, sorry)
1&2) The square buttons will define in what order sent in notes will be played back. Order - correct.
The knobs represent a contour over note order. It’s difficult to explain or imagine, but it’s basically useful to emphasise certain notes - not in terms of dynamics (how loud) but the frequency of that note being played (how often). Apply some Amt and play with Rise/Fall to find a range of notes (to be ‘emphasised’), add Noise to introduce randomness.
Thanks a ton! Appreciate it.
O and I'm trying to figure out why this is but if I map a CC to the velocity, it seem to work fine, but when it's playing and I move the CC value with my controller, the Velocity dial starts to jump to random locations super fast. If I reload, that goes away til I touch the CC slider again. Haven't had any problems with my slider for other applications and just curious what that dial is responding to. Was careful about making sure than only the CC was being transmitted. Not other MIDI data. Doesn't seem to matter which channel I send it on either. Thanks!
I really love these Pagefall apps. Wonder what @pagefall is working on these days?
Modulating Velocity works here without issues. Air3 13.7
Yep, lots of options to go crazy
Thanks for checking!
Gavinski has some nice videos on these apps.
Cheers, bro. I only did one vid on his stuff I think -

Yeah, I think Pagefall, much as love his apps, does himself, his sales and his users a big disservice by not writing manuals for his apps. If an app needs a manual, it needs a manual, and the Pagefall apps do need manuals! He did make videos on them, but not detailed or clear enough. Has anyone heard from him though, I'm a bit worried. I sent him a few emails and never heard back, but he used to reply pretty quickly. Hope he is OK.
he is working on new stuff
but he is also resting and taking care of himself a bit i thinik
"Working on my apps required time & energy I just didn’t have left over this year. Hoping to get started again next year starting with my visual looper app. Thank you to everyone who has supported my work this year too...."
@RubenDari good to hear, thanks
indeed, i’m sure i could elicit more out of these if i had a finer understanding of what was actually going on 😂
Excellent and thank you! This clarified a lot of things! I need to remember to check your site more regularly!
Yeh, it's not basic functionality alone. Really good to know the inner workings and how the functions interact and relate to each other so you can make the most of it. The one word knob labels are sometimes not very illuminating I find.
o good! I haven't used very many generative midi plugins but I do often like what comes out of this. It seems like the thing that is often missing in the attention to space between notes but they seem to do a pretty decent job of allowing for spaces and rests if that's what you are after. So I am curious what might be next!
@cem_olcay so Cem, I just want to check whether you feel confident that you will be able to add the mulit channel input required for mpe and recording of any cc messages? These are far and away the most important things needed, in my view.
Wrong thread?
Thanks Wim, yes, bizarre how that ended up here, will add it to the loopbud thread, cheers

I thought I'd finally found the perfect video. From the developer himself and was so excited and when I got to the cloud section, the music is so loud, I can't hear his explanation. Kinda hilarious:
😂🤣😂
Keeping the mystery alive !
Having previously accidentally wowed my ears by summoning a few wondrous things via noodling around with the ‘cloud’ section, it would be great to figure out how i got there
