can skiiid be controlled by an external midi keyboard? if so, how?

You can trigger its 4 pads from ext. kb (c3 - d#3 in Drambo, c4 - d#4 in AUM), but that kinda ignores almost all its features. It’s meant to be touched...

It only takes 4 midi notes in, 1 for each pad. I mentioned something to the developer and I hope they take it into account, but skiiid would be so much cooler if it took in 32-40 midi notes, since each pad has 8-10 separate spaces to press when playing. It be so dope if you could trigger each column, on each pad, not just the 4 pads. Maybe someone else could help this idea along...
