Here’s my first 3 minutes with it:
standalone works, but au is not showing up in hosts.
is ipad os 14+ needed for au to work?
Have you restarted your device.
I’m on 13.something and I’ve got the same thing happening so you might be right
@rototom : I’m on 14.4 and it works fine in AUM, can’t tell if it works on anything else, sorry. It’s a good implementation though, all the parameters are exposed for lfo tweaking. Having fun with it trying to build a real track in AUM right now...
Cool name, btw. I had a set of 4 with my kit back in the day, inspired by Bill Bruford’s of them on Indiscipline:
(I wanted the octabans and SDS pads too. Not to mention the talent. I noticed on a recent live version it took three drummers to do what Bill did on his own on this...)
Restart in iOS 13.7 did not have an impact. It isn’t showing up for me, either.
yes, device restartet. not showing.
ipad os 13.7
Hi!
Could you please check if you updated the version to 1.3? Maybe reinstall?
Also is it working inside GarageBand?
During development i was checking work with GarageBand. Sorry but can't check in AUM right now
The version downloaded shows as 1.3 for me. It does not appear in GarageBand either. I am about to delete and reinstall and see if that has an impact.
On ios 13.7 it does not show up in Garageband or AUM -- tried deleted, reinstalling and rebooting.
thanks. i will try to figure out what may cause it from my side
I love the sound of this, really interesting tones to be had, I hope you’re going to do some more esoteric stuff @ashekochikhin - I’m currently obsessed with valve synths, even to the extent of doing LiveSPICE simulations most of last week trying to get Wien oscillators working in it... next week I’m getting my hands on some real ones I hope, and a breadboard, I found some low voltage circuits that seem to work...
Same issue of no AU on 13.6. AU works on 14.4.
Apparently you can do convincing versions of valve stuff using waveguides. There are some papers on this somewhere.
I must admit currently auv3 extension is available only in 14.4 and above. i will fix it soon. Thank you all for the issue
That’s good to know, I’m learning max/msp and getting into Gen a bit along the way so tidbits of that sort of knowledge always lead down interesting paths, thanks!
This synth is great!
Please check version 1.4. Hope it will fix the problem
I really need the init patch on this for something but when I connect it to my Launchpad Pro mk3 via AUM and Atom 2 it makes an awful squeal after a few seconds, even if I dont touch anything. 2018 iPad Pro, 14.4.
It's Atom 2, happens with other synths. Apologies for the trouble.
Will investigate, initial preset is to be sinusoidal
I have edited, see above. Thanks for the synth!
Oh. Great!
Really enjoy your work.
@ashekochikhin : just wanted to say I am loving your work
I’ve hung in there since the first connection less version, and now it can finally get out and play with my sequencers and lfos, as I have posted elsewhere on the forum. So pleased you exposed all those lovely tweakable parameters too. Thank you!
can confirm version 1.4 loads as au in host. (ipados 13.7)
thank you very much
1.4 works here now, Air 2, iPadOS 13.7
Thanks, having a lot of fun with it
Thank you for your compositions!
Great!
Same here on 13.6. AU works now, thanks! Is it possible that polyphony could be supported?
polyphony was not planned, but may be interesting, thanks!
