It's like all those vegetables you put in the crisper drawer with perfectly good intentions — only to have to toss them out when the stench of their rotting attracts your attention...
GR16 managed to replace it completely here, no regrets.
One of the major features in Funk Box was reliable MIDI clock support for use with hardware gear and GR16 shines, not only in this regard.
Anyone who wishes to still be funky uses Funkbox. It’s never left my Ipad(s). I like to keep apps that continue to works no matter what Apple does to the system. Years later, I’m still wishing I was funkier..
Yep... still love it and use it.
Actually I generally love to fire up the oldies, like Funkbox for drums, Grain Science and 76 Synthesizer for pads, Finger Pro Bassline for bass, and DXi for leads and riffs.

I still use it and love it. It's just so fast to get a good sounding beat going. Obvi, wish there was an AU version but otherwise pretty much perfect imo.
