Drums by Asrodot
I was quite impressed by this app. Nice and cheap at time of writing, and a good selection of drum sounds. The dynamics of how the different areas on the "coffee table" work together is nice, making for some very useable tappings.
One issue for me would be the lack of editing, both of sounds and the reverb settings. Even if there were wet and dry versions it would be preferable to the drenching that's on some of the sounds.
And the skeuomorphism of a lump of wood is bizarre to say the least. How about a more dynamic surface that changes with the kit? I've known a few drummers in my time, and I have never discussed the finer sonic qualities of a coffee table with any of them.

Just did a quick video review of this, I like it, be nice to know what you think.
Cool!
I got this after seeing it on Discchord and I really like it. Definitely would like to see some customization options, even just sample import would be fine.
A cool option would be to be able to organize the different touch-zones on the table, so you could create a setup that is ergonomically-tuned to your hands.
Yeah that would be nice, and its certainly in the code because the xlyo is segmented like this..it is great fun to play, I think I'm gonna do a thing with Cubasis, set up a click track do a bit of a jam with Drums then do a bit iFretless Weather Report style jazzy improv over the top. That might be fun..
@thesoundtestroom nice video and great playing. Just sold it to me!
