Removing "flanging" artifacts from ripped vocals.
So a friend of mine and I are working on remixing an old track of his. However, we reached a snag when he searched his archives and couldn't find the original vocal stems. So, we used the EZStems website to split the vocals from the backing track.
However, the vocals ended up having quite a few "flanging" artifacts left over. Is it possible to remove these artifacts, or are they stuck as part of the resulting recording?

Probably it’s a leftover from processing rather than recording.
Not aware of tools to address this specifically, but maybe some manual phase alignment or dedicated phase alignment tool would improve it.

Thanks for the suggestion mate.
Phase alignment didn't work, but I stumbled upon the solution. Pro-DS, except instead of targeting sibilance, I adjusted the frequency range and went from single vocal to allround mode, and magic. 😳
