Can someone tell me if Atom can do everything that Loopbud can?

I don’t want to buy both.

    Biggest difference: Atom allows for MIDI editing, LoopBud doesn’t. LoopBud is geared towards being quick, jamming.

    Record Multiple takes until you get what you want
    Play loops, or sections of (can be sequenced)
    Rapid
    Jam

    Atom:

    Record, edit until you get what you want
    Trigger Launch (clips), automated or manual
    More “methodical” (due to more tooling)
    Arrange

    Another very important diference: Atom2 (for now) can´t record CCs, so you can´t record or play pitchbend, volume, aftertouch or sustain pedal information!

    Atom2 blackbox MIDI CC will be enable later in an upcoming update and full MIDI CC automtion and editing will be in major revision , no date yet

    In addition, if you have a Launchpad MK3 (Mini, X, or Pro) it is automatically integrated with Atom 2 and AUM together.

    MIDI CC values can be assigned to trigger patterns in LoopBud.

    Nope not yet.

    No automation in LoopBud, just CC control of pattern changing.

    yes you are right!! I was confused with Photon AU!!

    Nope not yet.

    Hope both apps add it soon! Atom will be soon for sure

    Hi @cem_olcay, I seem to hearing the previous pattern briefly starting with the current pattern after switching. The audio app I’m using has no effects applied and release is zero. Are you aware of this bug?
