Lol.
I used to take my shaver in the car and then have a shave whenever I was parked up waiting somewhere for whatever reason. I figured that it would save more time in the long run and give me more time when lazing about in the house. And then it went missing
Pens and lighters all the time, scissors once
Car keys. Wallet. Socks. Ice Cream.
I've lost my bleeding wallet somewhere in the house. Again!
Must be rather annoying to your family that it is - by definition - never your fault
Never did find that wallet. Was forced to cancel my cards and buy a new wallet. Have also installed a Apple AirTag so I’ll never lose it again.
I rebought stuff I was too lazy to look for
Anyone seen my MacBook charger? God damn it.
I lost my trusty Air 2, a couple of weeks after getting the Air 4.
I looked everywhere, many, many times, resigning to have accidentally chucked it out, or it getting nicked by the dodgy builders we’d had in. But could never stop looking, and so every now and again I’d go through a bookcase or box in the garage, just for old times sake.
Then I found it, a year and a half later, between a radiator and the wall. No idea what made me check behind the radiator, or how it got there, but it was pure joy when we were reunited.
I lost a NUX MP2 headphone practice amp thingy, which was understandable as it’s very small, and so I bought a new one. But then I lost my old Intel MacBook Pro. I’d already replaced it with an M1 model, but still wanted to use it for something. Have no idea where it is. I don’t know how it’s possible to have lost something that large in an apartment as small as mine.
I also misplaced my Scarlett 4i4, but literally just found it a few minutes under a bunch of cables after a good search.
