Comments
Do you see it in General > iPhone Storage? If so, there should be an option there to delete it.
...and the answer is after an Apple chat that in some next level bs f***ery apple have removed the delete update option and only way is delete two thirds of a 16g phone to have enough space for the update file and additional updating headroom space or connect that s to itunes
Definitely apple trying to force obsolete people that dont have the understanding so they buy a new phone.
and you cant even update phone on itunes on older mac As it says ios 13 is latest version even though 14 sqautting on the device
Is your iTunes up to date? I seem to remember something like that -- needing to have the latest iTunes in order to get the latest iOS.
If you have enough big apps like Gadget, Module, Zenbeats, Pure Synth, and the like, you can "offload" those apps to get enough space. You'll have to re-download the apps and the IAPs but you at least you won't lose any work.
Yeah its a 2012 mac mini i have it on el capitan as newer os slowed it right down so cant really update
Its actually my in laws phone, trying to free up some space as the system files and update are taking up 10 of 16 gb and you need nearly 4gb free space on top of that for update to work.
I think just going to back up photos for him and wipe it and set up as new device prob best option
