Great! Thanks...
It's been a little while since I used DrumStudio (no fault of the app, just bought/tried out a bunch others), but I seemed to recall the export options (particularly ACP) working pretty well to begin with. Direct uploading of drum loops to DropBox or "Open in" with AudioShare makes it even better.
Exporting MIDI into Symphonix EV losses tempo...Works well (perfect) exporting loop into Thumbjam...
I'll do some test tonight...

MIDI control for external apps or physical controllers to control NOTES is great. MIDI Clock control, as little as I know about it, just sounds like a nightmare even as I read people who know 10x more about it than I do try to describe it. As long as my rhythm app provides AudioCopy/Paste or some comparable export function to create a perfect loop, I'm happy. AudioBus compatibility is huge too, obviously, though that isn't generally how I export loops, for a number of reasons.
I can understand the apprehension. Personally, fiddling with MIDI is half the fun. I would have probably got bored with all this many years ago if I didn't have new mysterious MIDI issues to keep me on my toes!
There was a recent interview with M.K. (famous house producer/remixer) where he mentioned that in the hardware days, he would have to set aside at least 3 hours a day to figure out MIDI issues. Ah memories...
Ok. I just noted the first result. The weird thing it's I exported the song with the "Open in..." option into Symphonix EV and the app shows the right tempo, but it doesn't play at the tempo the song was created.
By the way, I used mainly AudioCopy/Paste as well.
EDIT. Looking closely, tempo into Symphonix is OK.
