Sam Izrael (Sound of Izrael) is one of my favourite iOS sound designers, and this is a run-through demo of the 90+ presets in his pack for Mela 2, the new Nikolozi synth for iPad and iPhone. Ha all the presets are named after Tom Waits songs. Not that they sound anything like those songs, but SOI is obviously a fan.

I love the Heart of Saturday Night period, when he had all the feeling but could still actually sing
'Hope that I don't fall in love with you' is one of my faves. The twist is just heartbreaking
Oh man, it's when he started doing the weird throaty singing that he gets really good IMO. Heart Attack And Vine, Big In Japan, Telephone Call From Istanbul, and the Entire Bone Machine album are all classics!

As for what they are like, there are 215 of them! They are very good, if u like any other of his you have heard, u will dig them for sure
