Heh cheers, I’m feeling pretty pleased with myself how well this setup is working, I couldn’t believe it worked at all, never mind the range of weirdness I’m getting from them…

  • first attempt last night, some development today, but I need to calm down and try to compose something worth a longer video as I just get all excited and mulch it into madness every time I run it :D

This is going in the right direction, I like the sound and vibe. Especially for knowing what you did to get to this point.

Cheers Lux, defo a long road, and some ways to go; I really need to nail some stuff down and get it into the studio, whether I go recycled old radio chassis, wire wrap in jars a new madcap idea, or just blue tack the breadboards down and solder as little as possible in a basic wooden box…

I’ve also got to solve a tech problem, the filters are responding exponentially to the voltage produced by MIDI CC controls, so either I fix them in software (mosaic likely and probably quite simple, but with a low res on the low end), or do it the hard way in electronics is the current dilemma…

A little demo made using loops I’ve made from various of my homebrew samples - I’m gonna put the pack out on Gumroad soon with a fairly cheap price tag and see how it goes…

One question, why do I only ever remember to try panning tracks after I’ve uploaded something 😅😂

  • Oh blimey, that looks dangerously interesting!

Cheers man, definitely proto-prototype at this point; gonna breadboard inside for a bit so I can road test home in the studio, swap caps and that sort of thing, once it’s settled solder up probably point to point and a bit of strip board, then assess whether selling them would be in any way financially viable, might be a doozy but might be horrendous to price them…

  • Interesting Chris!

  • Why bend commercial circuits when you can build circuits from hell at home!

Too right! Though I did use circuit bending as a gateway drug for all this (just over three years ago now!)
