    Korg Gadget

    +1
Quite expensive if you buy everything, but very very complete, sounds great, and user friendly !

It adds up, but if you ‘limit’ yourself to Gadget as your music creation app you’re no longer seduced to buy every new synth/fx app.
Looking back over the years (and comparing to what others have spent) Gadget + all add-ons (most bought during sales) turned out a pretty good deal for me ;)

    Also producing EDM:
    Here are my go tos:

    DAW:
I love using BM3, but i would guess for EDM you could also use Cubasis 3. Depends on your workflow.
BM3 has native sidechain though which is so nice to use for EDM.

    Synths:

Synthmaster one --> most versatile overall alot of usable great patches, light on cpu
Pure Synth platinum --> a little Kontakt on IOS. So many great sounds. Espeacilly useful if you want to bring some real instruments in your sound
    Zeeon --> nice retro sound
    Tal-Uno --> almost perfect Juno 60 emulation
DRC --> Easy to Programm, nice full sound
moog model D --> some of the fullest bass sounds you can get

If you just want to use presets than I recommend syntronik for its amazing versatile sounds

Here are some Synths I like but i dont use them to often:

Lagrange --> very specific sound, use it sometimes for bellish stuff
Poison --> great synth, but doesnt suit my style of edm that much
continua --> nice synth but it doesnt really clicked for me yet
sunrizer --> some would say its the best on the platform, but if i can choose i go for zeeon everytime

cant recommend the audiokit synths. They are awsome on paper, but the auv3 code is a mess in my opinion, so i dont use them (would love to regualry use d1 though)

    Drums:
get some fine samplet drum packs, there are a tone out there. Most iconic are sound of kshmr sounds
if you want to get more creative sample your own drums for example with drumcomputer or the beathwak IAP packs

    Effects:
cant recommend the fabfilter suite enough, if you are on a budget then use the tonebooster suite, both are top notch

    in detail:

    EQ: Pro Q3 (hands down)
Reverb: FB Pro-R, EOS 2 on Vocals, (Blackhole for the weird crazy stuff)
Compressor: Pro C2, Magic death eye stereo, Fabfilter MB if you want to go really pro (you could also use dynamic EQ with ProQ3)
Saturation: Saturn 2 (so awesome), Free Tape Casette 2 (highly recommend for Cassete stuff)
Delay: Dubstation 2 (for the stadard stuff), Eventide Ultratap for the crazy stuff (not use it often)
    Transient designer: FAC Transient (Handsdown)
    Chorus: FAC Chorus
LFO Tool: Flux mini (so awesome to shape sounds for EDM) its free, just get it. Also nice for some volumeshaper like sidechain, which you can really shape.
Autotune for vocals (best thing i could find is autotune mobile which only works as IAA for me) unfortunatly there is still nothing like reltune or melodyne on the plattform yet (biggest miss in my opinion)
    Filter: Dual VFC (so awesome)
Stereo tool: Wider (Polyverse) Free and the best in my opinion
    Vocoder: Dervoco

Mixbox also features almost everything of the above in one package, also an option if you can miss some features here and there. Super nice effects.

those are my essentials pretty much... Hope i didnt forgot anything.
