aPolyvoks | A FREE Polivoks AUv3 Synth App? | haQ attaQ
aPolyvoks is a Polivoks-like synthesizer app for iPad. It's not a new app but it did recently receive a very welcome AUv3 update. So now we can load this Russian badboy up in our most favourite DAWs and on top of that, aPolyvoks is completely free. In this episode I'm comparing the app with the original built-like-a-tank Polivoks hardware synth and highlighting some features that are "missing" in the app.

Great video thanks. Maybe the Dev will add some of these missing features but I can't say I'm too bothered. Enjoying the raw, dirty sound of this synth and very grateful to the dev for the AU update.
I’m a big fan of the app as is for, as @FPC says, it’s raw, wild sound. I learnt from Jacob what was left out, and it would certainly be great if the app were to acquire these elements if @ashekochikhin feels keen further down the line. I would even spring for these as IAP (!) but like FPC, I can already appreciate it and use for what it is
Lol a syncable LFO (modulator frequency) would be high on my wish list too I suppose but, hey, it's free and sounds great
Yeah I’m not too bothered either. I just love t gnarly gritty sound, especially for bass. It’s got a lot of attitude!
Yeah I definitely pay for an IAP with extra features too.
Great video! Thanks for the ideas and proposals for future updates. Hope some of them will come true) I must admit that initially, it was not an attempt to reproduce the original synth in very details, as it would need much more attention, but rather reproduce the structure, cross-modulation especially, etc. But I definitely should add something you have mentioned.
