I posted on this last night but Morris quickly alerted me that the huge list of changes that appears in the update screen is actually the big update from a month ago. Some of them looked vague enough ("improved audio engine", visual overhaul, etc.) that I didn't catch that they were recopied from a former update. I believe you listed the actual things updated, which were bug fixes.
Fix no count-in? I guess not.
The count-in wasn't broken as it was never there to begin with, that would be a new feature request. I'm not sure if the dev is aware that is people are asking for it.
He knows now. I'll update.
Ha, developer knows if he read any of the threads/comments. I'm obviously a huge fan of MT DAW - it's almost as integral as AudioBus (almost) in getting me into recording, but it badly needs some type of count-in feature. I tend to "make" a count in by artifically starting my tracks at the 2nd or 3rd measure so that I can start from the beginning with a metronome (and then moving everything back later). It works, but it's a hassle. (And of course, that wouldn't work for adding parts to the middle of a song unless you artificially move all those parts forward as well.)
Hey guys IAA instrument input was fixed in this version. Tap on track, and arm record. Tap input and your IAA instruments will be there.
Oh cool. That's a good fix then - IIRC, it was only populating with certain IAA apps before (generators?).
It shows generators, but only instruments.
Update: Generators IAA apps are working.
Yeah, the IAA instruments are displayed. I don't know why the dev didn't include them in last update. BTW I think the dev should abandon the Hotbox. It is inconvenient that you have to tap and hold to access the editing menu. GarageBand's single tap is much better.
+1 for the developer to abandon the HotBox
