FM Player. Sync is weird and notes are sometimes detuned
I’ve just bought FM Player from Audiokit and I’m loving the sounds, but in AUM it’s just acting weird. It syncs with the project tempo in AUM, but when I play, it is out of sync. And I’m using Atom Piano Roll 2 to trigger it, so it’s not my faulty playing it’s super frustrating, especially when I want to use arpeggiated sounds. I’ve also experienced that the notes are out of tune somehow...
I can see that people have experienced crashes with the app previously. Should I just accept that it doesn’t work in AUM or am I doing something wrong?
PS: there is an (Ableton) “Link” button in the stand-alone version, but it’s missing as an auv in AUM. I guess it just automatically makes the kind, just thought it was odd.

The AudioKit apps have had a shaky relationship with AUv3. Could you try it as IAA, see if that helps?
The tuning problem may be related to 44.1 vs 48 kHz sampling rate. Try checking your settings in both AUM and FM Player.
Thanks. I’ve tried your suggestions, but it still feels buggy and the sync is completely off. I think I’ll just give up on this one. It’s a shame, because the sounds are nice.
