How do I import a wav Into loopy?

You might get more interest in helping you with a thread title that expresses the question. One way is to copy audio the clipboard and then long-tap and empty loop slot and tap Import. The pasteboard will show up as something you can import. Another method is to copy the wav file into the Loopy folder On my iPad. When you long press an empty slot and choose Import, the panel that comes up lets you choose any audio file in the Loopy folder.

  • Will this work if I have my loops in audioshare?

You can move loops from AudioShare to the loopy directory. AudioShare file’s are available in the Files app.

  • what is the files app?

  • oh oh....

Indeed @jdolecek49. I’ve been seeing a lot of your threads with titles like ‘iPad’ or ‘iPhone’ or similar. I didn’t react to those but it clearly looks like you need a nudge. Please put a bit more effort into your threads for the benefit of yourself and others.

Include what you actually want to know in the title. ‘Loopy’ doesn’t say anything and can be considered a click bait. Then, please describe your situation as well as you can so whoever wants to reply knows exactly what the problem is.

I understand that English may not be your first language but seems to me that you can express yourself well when you put some effort into it. Cheers.

...and welcome to the forum! ;)

There’s a thorough help function including tutorials, in the app ...

To access the import function, bring up the track menu by holding your finger on a track, then select ‘Import’.

    Sigh..
Too lazy to figure out the base of apps (or even iOS). Too lazy to post in the right forum category. Too lazy to come up with proper thread tittles. Too lazy to read back their own text before posting.

look dude there isno eason to be rude. I'm new to the ios worldand just trying to figure it all out but for you, its so easy to be big and bad behind a screen but you really should not show your inadequate by attacking someone, you obviously have a low self esteem because you feel the need to attack someone so you can feel important. my advice to you is that you need to seek some counseling so you can work on your low self esteem

  • @jdolecek49 : it would be nice if you would change the title of the thread to something more relevant -- so that people browsing the forum don't expect this to be a general discussion of Loopy. It is very helpful to people for discussion titles to indicate what the discussion is about. Such as : "Loopy - how do I import files"

  • I'm not sure how to change the title now since the post has been made bit in the future I will make sure that I will be more specific. Please accept my apologies for being so vague

Scroll to the top of the page. There is a gear icon next to the thread title. Click on it and choose edit. It will be helpful so that when people use the forum's search, they will know that the thread is about.

Everyone was new to iOS at some point, but most people figure out the basics by searching instead of starting a new thread for every question that pops into their mind.

You keep starting thread after thread with the most obvious questions, without putting in effort of your own. Then you abandon it and start a new thread with a similar question.
For instance, why start this thread after you’ve already started this one?
Your threads have non descriptive titles and belong in “Support and feedback”. Both have been pointed out to you before but you decide to ignore that and call me rude for stating the facts :D

  • I'm doing the best I can, I do have a bit of brain trauma I have scarring on the frontal temporal lobe of my brain so I forget from time to time...it just takes me a bit to catch on but like i said i'm doin the best I can but u'm starting to keep al my questions to one thread. I'm the lkind of person that does noy like to be attacked by name calling and I eliminated all negativity from my my life so if you can keep the negativity to a minimum i would appreciate it.....getting things going on ios just takes a bit to understand everything....meanwhile.....my next question is that i'm having trouble find the answer to is.....what is the difference between ruismaker and ruismaker noir?
