SOLVED: How to copy/paste AUv3 parameters in AUM from CH1/pluginA(inst1) to CH2/pluginA(inst2) ?
Example:
You have three channels in AUM with two channels. All three channels have the same AUv3 plugins like delay and reverb (but of course different instances).
Channel 1: Instrument Input -> headphones out
Channel 2: Audio Damage ENSO looper track 1 -> headphones out
Channel 3: Audio Damage ENSO looper track 2 -> headphones out
How it is possible to copy paste ALL (previously in a database stored?!*) AUv3 parameters from channel 1 to channel 2? And from channel 1 to channel 3?
Imagine you want to record a first loop (channel 2) WITHOUT effects with whatever delay and reverb parameters. Then you want to record the second loop (channel 3) WITHOUT effects too but with some other different delay and reverb parameters.
This would be useful if you want to record all your loops WITHOUT effects so you will be able later to change the delay / reverb parameters.
Your MIDI foot controller could send two MIDI CC messages at once:
- 1x MIDI CC message for record/play/overdub
- 1x MIDI CC message for grab all (previously in a database stored?!*) AUv3 parameters from CH1 and paste them to all same plugins (but of course other instances) of CH2 / CH3.
This would be live looping ultra deluxe if you would be able to record your loops without effects but playing with effects (without interrupts).
What solutions are out there to solve this?
Thanks guys!
- Is there an app can solve this? I know there is an out there is called MidiFire and it's very great. But I haven't get it working so far. Maybe there are other solutions or someone has an idea.

I know of no software solution to do this.
However, for one aspect of what you're trying to do, using busses for the FX can help a lot. Rather than loading any FX on the channel itself add them on a bus channel. Now route the output of the channel to the bus. Now, you can record the original channel if you want a dry recording and the FX channel if you want to record the effected output. To try other FX setups just put them on other bus channels and change the output of the original as needed.
That setup isn't MIDI controllable. You can go a bit more complex by using bus send plugins pre-fader. You can have as many of these as you need and use midi to select them. You can even mix them if you like. Just be sure to mute the original channel so that you don't multiply the dry signal. Or, make sure to use FX that can be set to 100% wet.
Hey @wim thanks for your reply!
Some minutes ago I found a solution with LUA scriptings within the new TouchOSC (closed) beta.
