DIY Tape
https://patchstorage.com/diy-tape/
Performance fx tape/degrader thing based on The Finger/FlyTape etc... No momentary buttons in Drambo modules so you’ve gotta flip to bypass button or use faders for Dry. Super easy to plock buttons though and each button = an individual sets of modules under the hood, so can use the default button fx or switch out whatever you want.
Pretty heavy on cpu...I’ll maybe make a lighter version if get time. Some quick example vids below 🦧

Just tried it, awesome stuff. Excellent work as usual.
Ha, I did a similar thing over the weekend when I read how folks were dissatisfied with the customisation on the actual app...
Amazing work, mate!
It reminds me when I had a portable cassette player as a kid that the buttons kept jumping off, exposing the some of the mechanic parts, and I started to slow tapes down with my fingers
And love the track
@echoopera and @tahiche are some of the heavy-duty Drambo users I guess could like to take it for a spin (no pun intended)
@childofthecorndog
Great stuff.
@childofthecorndog pure genius. Love it 👊🏼™️💕
Thanks.
Wow 😳 looove it.
Drambo punk rock ❤️❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥 🙌 🤟🤟🤟🤟
Listening to this makes me be in band again.
@senhorlampada thanks for the invocation!
PD: I might not be as much of a heavy user as a heavy asker... 😜
Wow this is great work! Respect sir!
I always knew I am not understanding the power of Drambo but now I got the flipping proof. Wow!
Nice feedback, thanks! 🙏 Hope people enjoy messing with it..
Made an alt version -
https://patchstorage.com/diy-tape-lo-cal/
Lower CPU & added Stutter effect.....Trade-off’s are no Hi-Q in the filter modules and the full GUI doesn’t always fit on some screens now....so I’m leaving the initial version on Patchstorage too, vs wiping over it with this one.
Quick bm3 thing with the Lo Cal version on master bus -
Need a longer version of this track
Awesome stuff
Thanks for this, brother 😍
I may miss the most obvious but I inserted one instance of continua and recorded a small sequence, hook up DIY Tape after continua but I dont get any sound. Drambo noob here... I guess I need to route something there!?
Here’s couple videos that should help 🏄♂️
Using Drambo as an AU FX in other hosts you need to connect DIY Tape’s audio input to the Track audio (far left....colour coded green in this vid) -
https://youtube.com/shorts/jhRKgv2qWDQ?feature=share
Using DIY Tape in Drambo you need to connect the DIY Tape audio input to the output of whatever you wanna feed in to it. The output of KQ Dixie in this video (colour coded red here).
Audio signal input/output sockets are circles with the wavy line.
Hope that helps fix you up
@childofthecorndog wow! Thank you for taking the time to help me get going! No I see where my Drambo knowledge ended oha
It sounds wonderful! You did an amazing job there! Thanks for sharing your art!
Thank you! I just grabbed another one of your preset packs in appreciation. These presets are like a lesson in sound design, great stuff
You’re welcome @david_2017 ! & big thanks for grabbing a COTCD pack @Fingolfinzz !! Appreciated 🙏
Stoked people are in to the patch and using it in Jams (someone posted this on FB) -
