New AU plugin: Web Audio Player
We released this app several months back but version 1.0 wasn’t awesome yet so we didn’t do any video to promote it. Now it is ready to go and here is the demo video:
App Store link:
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/web-audio-player/id1546591560
What does it do?
- Plays audio from most web sources including SoundCloud and internet radio streams.
- Includes a web browser so you don’t have to copy and paste urls when you want to use internet radio.
- Buffers live audio streams so you can back up and hear them again.
- Allows you to save as many favorites as you want.
- Includes a default list of favorite sites that we will update from time to time. (Send is a link if you think we should add it to our master list)
What doesn’t it do?
- Video (Tube AU does that)
- WebSDR (WebSDR does that)

I love this app
Thanks @Blue_Mangoo - saving urls has taken this to another level...👍 didn't get a default favourite station list though...
Did you load the list as shown in the video?
Ahh - no, sorry I missed that! My bad...
So does the audio come out into AUM? And able to be recorded? FX’d? Etc...
Must do as the channel volume slider in AUM works in the video
@Blue_Mangoo thanks for the update! Any chance of implementing state saving of the URL?
You have to reload the stations every time you launch it???
Thank you.
Yea I saw that just after I posted
Probably not. Sorry
