I bid on something and won 😳
Crap. Now I'm going to have to take this music thing more seriously. 😅
The last one I bid one was a bargain at $700, but it got bid up to $900 plus quickly
There were crickets on this one. 🤷♂️

Congrats and enjoy it...looks like a fun piece of kit
Have fun! 🎹
I was looking at the Akai One mostly based on what you and others had produced on it. It would have been more inexpensive but this ticked all the boxes.

I'm now done buying and building gear.
A new iPad can wait.
It will be here the 30th. It's going to be like Christmas.
Very intrigued by this. It looks like Xynthesizr come to life.
It has probability, modulation, and "p-locks", but nothing at all like game of life mutations or randomization.
Sweet! I’ve always wanted a Deluge you lucky sonovagun!
start trolling ebay and reverb
Nice. Pretty good price as well.
Not to bad at all considering they went up $100 bucks this year.
Gee, maybe I ought to auction off some of my old hardware. LOL.
Nice, congrats! I've debated getting one for a while. The lack of screen and editor are bit limiting for me, but lots of great music out there with this one. I have enough options with iPads and Eurorack.
Thats what I thought id buy if my ipad kept freezing but ipad came back ultra grippy within its system so maybe freezes are no more. Got the Ec4 today which might be good for deluge. I bought an omni deck. Ec4. Plus I could get 200 back just selling spare zoom and not needing to buy an spdif cable but think I will keep just because volca drum can be a weird module. That means a portable deck, ec4 plus another 200 on cables etc is nearly £1000 more additionally to an IOS system that has to work. Must be mad but set on my path. Obviously I will post when omni arrives.
Odd setup tbh
What the heck do you do with all those knobs?
I thought I was bad with a LaunchControl and a MidiFighter twister.
I just meant the east-west scrolling grid. Hope you love it.
Me too. I mean I watched enough videos and waited long enough to be sure. (I'm sure I will )
@sigma79 What's omnideck?
At the mo. I envision sequencing but with spare for delays etc. Will let you know as I wouldnt want people to copy and it not be good. The volca drum through effects is ok for noodles that are weird ( mononoke stuff ) rather than sampled. You can tweak outside of screen whislt playing mononoke for example. Thats why it will stay always on an input, along with omni, volca modular and mic. Dont think Id buy a volca drum, plus another zoom u44 and cable for it to be a synth though buts its ok.
Congrats! The Deluge is an amazing machine, you’re going to have a lot of fun with it.
This mate. Will fit perfect next to keyboard with the black wood remade so deck is forward as low as the keys. Might be good for ambient stuff ( noodles ) a scratch here or there. Plus its all compact so I can move from deck back to gear easy but tbh you could make a noodle then add a scratch. Think I will mount my iphone to ceiling so it can be live noodle video.
I was just going through this forum looking for peeps that have one. You and several others popped up.
Yay support group, or mutual admiration society.
Weird setups are the best.
This is said to work with dvs from box but some say it dont. If it does. Maybe Id dj like I were thinking (20 years ago ) A nanokontrol to djplayer pro plus a deck. Dont have speakers though to cue but think its just a scratch within a noodle until iv made multi noodles.
Based around screen though and I were thinking sell most stuff for a deluge but ipad returned and system seems strong on latest os. Hope it dont freeze because its for live noodles.
Check out the Boards of Deluge patches, I’ve bought all 4 packs and they are superb: https://synth-patches.com/deluge/boards-of-deluge-1/
They make my shitty tracks sound brilliant
I will. Thank you.
nice buy! You’ll probably want to check out Boards of Deluge preset packs — The factory presets leave a little to be desired and it’s not the easiest synth to program when you’re first learning it, so this pack really opened my ears to the possibilities on this machine.
(edit) oops, didn’t notice someone else beat me to it
Congratz, great choice. I was considering Deluge for a while too, but then picked combo Digitone+Digitakt .. to be honest, that was autumn 2020 - since then i did not touched any music app on my iPad, and will ignore new iPads too, i rather use those money for second Digitone to add more voices or Octatrack
HW is different level of musical experience...
New gear rules! Have fun!
