Just got my Audio-Technica ATH-M50x one week ago!

    They are brilliant!!!

I've heard that. I'm wondering why they weren't mentioned sooner.

    Anyone else use these?

I've had mine for a few months and I'm pleased with them.

I can easily say that i own too way many pairs of Headphones...
(Various AKG, Sennheiser, Soy, Philips, Koss etc, totaling well over 20 pairs...).

  • I buy new a pair of AIAIAI TM1-A young guru ...and I'm very happy with it :-)

  • @Kloon: You're right, I totally missed what the OP's was looking for. And you are in the same camp as my kid's, who think their old Dad is kinda weird too! ;~)
But the Koss PRODJ 200's might be more on target,,.....

@Kloon along with the Porta Pros I also use Sennheiser Amperions and AKG k 240 DFs 10+ years old 600 ohms needs an amp.
But when I go out out of the house the Porta Pros are hard to beat.

The Koss PP recommendations were made a year and a half ago, iPad music has significantly evolved. But the Porta Pros are still great for fit in your pocket don't sweat losing or breaking quality phones
