Where’s the BEEF?
I’m terrible at remember who devved what, but just looked up Caelum Audio and they made Schlap and Flux Mini, both of which I love. So, looking forward to this one.
It’s fantastic. You know that people say Drumcomputers kick doesn’t have enough punch? Just Beef it up! I tried it, works as advertised.
Is beef similar to the Oxford inflator? Or is it a sub harmonic generator? I haven’t been following any posts about it. Also, will it be iOS only or for Mac as well?

This one gets plug of the year for me - does at least 3 things I was really after in my production set up in one AUv3 - transient shaping, saturation and “erosion” - nice work guys!

You would be hard pressed to find a sound that can't BEEF!
It's a bit different to this. Its hard to describe without it being called a "Multi FX" as it combines a few different effects that are used to make hard hitting, bold and BEEFY sounds. It's a mixture of EQ, saturation, rate modulation, transient shaping, bit crushing and limiting. It is also available for Mac here: https://www.caelumaudio.com/CaelumAudio/?Page=Beef

Great app, simple and nothing mind blowing, but sounds great. I would love to be able to re-order the chain. Perhaps a long press and swap them around? An input / output filter would be great too. @CaelumAudio

I started using this app during the beta and it is now a CORE part of my signal chain. I like a clean and full guitar sound, and for my base I have been running my guitar signal through just BEEF and a reverb and have been loving the results. Not a compressor, not a volume boost, things just sound fuller and, well, “beefier”. It’s like a BBE Expander or Exciter in the way that it is difficult to describe the ingredient of what’s going on but you notice when it’s not there and you miss it. I like it.
But did you Schlap your Beef?
