Nietzsche Redux / Correcting A Copout

I rarely revisit a track, but my first attempt at a musicified Nietzsche was up the wrong alley.
I was simply too lazy to try again. In assembling the album it became a glaring error. So tonight I tried again. I think this works a lot better.

PurePiano, Retro Piano, BASSalicious, BeatHawk Tutti Orchestra and Double Bass.

  • I didnt hear the first version, but this one is beautiful

  • Very nice. I liked the first version but see why it didn’t fit into the feel of the album. Perhaps this is Philosophers Unplugged and there is scope for a much anticipated heavy metal second album Philosophers Rock (which I find to my amusement is the name of a guitar pedal)

  • This is a better title for his philosophy, too. Looking forward to listening

  • Never correct a cop when he’s out. Fred “Knee” Chi, MMA sensei. Take a knee grasshopper.

Thanks so much for listening @sjm_90. Much appreciated.
@GeoTony, indeed, but maybe Rock Philosophers.
@mjcouche... well, I’m getting closer then!

    Lol

  • Wow. That's a perverted take on George Floyd.
    Knee... cop... out...
    trying to correct a cop.

IOS played a huge role in that story writ large.

Steve Job's left a legacy in the form of these devices we carry with us like little life support devices. If you can call this living. It's closer to AR.

It won't be long before someone is killed for taking a video, if it hasn't happened already.
Like Sinatra assaulting paparazzi only this time the subject will be packing weapons with
a charter to use them and control the evidence.

Still, there will hopefully be a video that details the subsequent crimes of destroying the first video. "Inception" as a series of nested videos that reveal a larger truth. The most dangerous animal is a mother protecting her cubs. I used that as a basis for a joke while hiking and using binoculars...

"There's the most dangerous animal in the forrest on the side of that hill."
    "Let me see!"
(It was a mother walking 3 children).
    She was not amused...
    having raised 2 herself...
and having people ask "Do you work?"
"Harder than most." she would reply and walk away.

Now her first is carrying that obligation during an epidemic and we can't help.
We have video visits using IOS. It used to be the grandparents showed up and made home movies... new we stream them in realtime. Technology is empowering.

  • I like them both. Nietzsche was too deep to capture in one movement.

  • Thanks @Lady_App_titude. The first track should have been standalone is all. I kind of squeezed it into a Neitzschian shape. Felt like I was cheating. But, you’re right, philosophers are all too complex to be defined by the things that unify a single piece of music. Except, maybe, a symphony.
