    Another vote for ElasticFX and Turnado.

    Semi-related: has anyone any experience with the hardware Korg mini kaoss pads and if so feelings?

    I have the KP mini mkI ( first version ) ,
    compared to kp3 it has slightly inferior sound quality ( mostly a bit more noisy ) , more difficult in the beginning to find preset by number , but all effects and fun is there :)
    Most noticeable downside is the lack of sampling and resampling .
    I sold the kp3 cause of Turnado , but mostly because the effect applied to all 4 pads , limiting my resampling fun .

    I wish you good on your endeavors, but I don't use touchosc, only stand alone fx apps and there is obviously a hole in the niche waiting to be filled

    you'd have to define kickass first and it would have to have both midi in/out but if asses were truly kicked then I surely would.

    The in/out part is def the toughy... I'll make a free one that just gathers all the common commands you would need for live use, like 'next sequence' etc if I find the time. You can let me know which apps you use, but I'll probably make it with mostly my needs in mind - which would be this:

    Elastic patterning seekbeats - enough of their controls in one place to keep the performance from getting bogged down in app flipping. Don't hold your breath, but I do have one started...

    Yes, basically... But you don't really need the templates, except to edumuhcate yourself. Plus, the fun is making it exactly how you want. Don't be scared - open the editor and start right clicking and dropping the various modules in and have some fun! Again, this is super easy, way easier than I expected, and I am not that technically inclined... Node/Object based programming is super fun, like legos for the computer.

    The mini Kaoss Pads are great- I have the second generation ones. The quality and variety of the effects is superb (they are taken from the KP3. There are a lot of YouTube videos. If you buy one second hand you will resell it if you want to without much of a loss. They seem to hold their value.

    Bringing this back to see if there’s anything new besides Turnado and ElasticFX (which looks to not have an audiounit). Any good AU apps for KP like fx stuff for a live gig? All my hardware is being mixed in AUM and I figure it’d be cool to have some live fx.
