Let's put this into perspective though, shall we. They could also be Igor, Erik or Anthony, in which case you would still be stuck trying to even find the controls, let alone figure out what on earth they are supposed to be doing. 🤷

    +1

My current criteria to keep an app on my iPad is closely tied to usability and visibility...
...no matter how cool or weird an app is if I can't see the controls in a sensible and logical manner they're off my iPad.

So yeah, UI and functionality does play a BIG role if an app gets my attention or not...
...as an example SunVox will not win awards for 'awesome design' but it's very , very_ functional!

CubeSynth Pro will stay on my iPad now that I'm somewhat familiar with it's quirks :)

i’m actually ok with their UIs. there are some problems (like envelope points, yeah), but overall it is usually quite clean and clear. on the other hand i absolutely hate the UIs of sugar bytes and iceworks apps, so don’t listen to me.

Virsyn UIs are definitely not the worst, for sure. Clean and clear they are indeed. We’re just getting spoiled by devs like Bleass upping the standards.

And I don't like Bleass UIs at all... 😔 so even @vasilymilovidov can look down on me. (I never have any idea what is going on in IceWorks interfaces, and I find Egoist and Aparillo fun... 🤷)

    Different UI’s for different U’s.

I can echo this, I love how Bleass Alpha sounds, but I hate not being able to slightly tweak a filter, for instance.

  • Anyone have issues using Cube Synth Pro as an AUV3 in Cubasis 3.3.1?

It works well as an IAA but AUV3 instance appears to have some sort of disparity with the audio sampling rate. Oscillators run much faster than the same patch used as an IAA and resolution sounds extremely choppy but it does load in Cubasis 3.3.1 as an AUV3 without crashing.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks.

Ongoing confusion with this synth. Every time I open it in AUM I cannot get a sound out of it, using a sequencer.
    any thoughts?

  • Gave Addstation a blitz ( since buying when released )

Impressed. Kind of like not having knobs to overtweak and like the texture.

    Will I like Cubesynth pro?

  • Before working out how it works. Thought it would just be a few time fx, on a song for £15

    But its a proper synth.

    A headache.

  • I think everyone of his apps are stellar. Especially the synth apps. What do,I know though?
Typically I’m not a huge fan of “noise” but I couldn’t stop listening to this.
