Could someone show me a quick video of Cubasis 3 editing audio
Could anyone do a quick 30 second or so video showing editing audio in cubasis 3? For example say you play a guitar part and a few licks are out of time, so you edit them to put everything in time. I just want to see a video of how good or bad the audio editing capabilities are before I commit to buying it.

I believe Cubasis 3 LE is free to try. Plus if you get it that way, you get another smaller discount so going as you have a compatible hardware.

Thanks, I didn’t realize you could try it out.
Cubasis isn't super great for what you've described, not having warp markers, etc.
Auditor is outstanding for that kind of editing. So is Auria Pro, but is of course a full DAW, not just an editor.
Agreed in regards to Auria Pro.
I used it to mix a radio show last week.
Topped and tailed all of the tracks with cross fades and a
channel strip setup to record a very short voiceover intro.
Very efficient as an audio editor.
I have yet to try Cubasis in this way.
Most probably will try that over the next couple of weeks.
I don’t have Auditor, I’ve heard good things about it though.
Yeah I passed on Cubasis. Not trying to bash any of the developers at all. What they do is amazing, but I can’t believe at this point Auria is the only DAW with real timeline audio editing, which is kind of the whole point of a DAW. I actually bought Auria last year, but have never been able to use it. It’s not stable for me.
Well, Cubasis still has a lot of room to evolve. Audio editing being too basic is a pain. But can you imagine a piano roll editor without scales? Exactly.
