Too much else to do, although I do love this forum.
As of this moment, yes.
Whoever made that meme about just this in the meme topic was totally right it seems.
Damn… I accidentally edited the post and now votes are lost. Sorry.
I drop in while making music. It's like hanging out with the band/crew I never had.
No, it's not even close for me. I check during morning coffee and maybe later in the day a couple times, but I spend far more time actually working on music than reading about it. Or at least trying to
Given that my job isn’t making music I like dropping into music forums / discords during my breaks. I have tried spending five / ten minutes here/there playing with music on my breaks but that is a painful tease.
For me ABF is like a canteen to engage with likeminded while it’s downtime... there used to be a lot more to explore, discuss or just wait for the next game changer... lately I can’t come up with anything to wish for...
More on time on music, but I am here a lot. 😄
This thread title has given me a serious ass kick. (In a good way)
Thanks. I needed reminding.
During the day, yes. At night, I turn off the Internet. I make a track nearly every night. It’s all improvised, each part in one pass all the way through, usually first takes. Most of them suck, but I get lucky now and then. After six months of making total crap, the last few weeks have been a refreshing hot streak.
+1 what he said. Plus the cool factor on here is a definite pull. We’re all so very groovy here LOL! Cheers, ED
I do check almost ever time I have a spare few minutes to kill but I’m making tones of music lately. Not necessarily on iOS though.
^^^This is the best advice!
Then turn it back on half an hour after the wife has gone to her bed 😄👍
