ToneStack Pro not showing up anywhere? Apple? Yonac?
I don’t know what’s going on today.
I’ve uninstalled, reinstalled, rebooted, even updated iPadOS to the latest 14.5.1 and still cannot get Yonac’s ToneStack Pro to show up as the AU in AUM or Drambo! I can’t even find the IAA ToneStacks now after reinstalling! What TF is going on??? I can launch it from the icon on my Home Screen, but not finding it anywhere in hosts..
And another thing,, and this might or might not be related… I was almost slammed full on my storage on this iPad … today, I look, and I’ve got like 20 GB free… with no “automatic offload options” on and no indication which or where any of my apps were removed (or partially removed?.)
Anyone have a clue where my ToneStack might be? @Jessie ?

You are trying to load it into the effect slot and not input slot, right? I’ve made that mistake more than once.
Check to make sure your apps are not ‘self-offloading’. Once they offload, naturally they won’t show up when you’re trying to use them as AUv3’s.

You’re not the class clown, it’s an easy mistake to make. There’s many of them and everyone has done it. Long post here but you’ll laugh if you read it all the way through.
I started doing sound at a new performing arts center in NJ, and the sound system is awesome- d&b array, eaw micro wedge monitors, Yamaha cl5, all Dante connected, nice mics, etc. The guy who installed and tuned it, from a very well known sound company/installer around here, was at the first show to make sure everything went smoothly. He did an amazing job timing the system and is very experienced. I Mentioned to him that the shure wireless were not being recognized by Dante even though I had sound. But I couldn’t adjust gain, just trim it back with digital trim. He searched high and low, restarted the system multiple times, check IP addresses, worked with Dante domain manager to try to see the issue, etc, but nothing worked.
Oh well, it’s all working in terms of sound coming out and sounding good, so we figured we’d figure it out another time. After the dinner break, we come back, and he tells me he solved it. Turns out the main Dante cable was not plugged into the back of the board, just the secondary, so it was running on backup.
Later, he was adjusting delay for the lobby send, and couldn’t get it right. Until he noticed after a few tries that the delay was not enabled...
So, my long roundabout point? Stuff happens to everyone! We all laughed and moved on.
That’s also why the bonus question on the final I just gave to my engineering class, and something that we repeated many times through the semester, was :
“What’s the number one rule in audio?”
“Make sure it’s plugged in and/ or turned on.”
Not a joke!
