OT: What Song’s Stuck in Your Head

We all get songs stuck in our heads, either after listening to it or it pops up out of the blue.

So I ask, what song’s stuck in your head right now?

I have “Sabbath Bloody Sabbath” looping endlessly right now. I also recently had the intro to Dokken’s “In My Dreams” looping the other day.

    lately this...

    (vacation coming up)

  • I'm fascinated by spontaneous pop-ups - the songs that choose us, rather than the songs we'd choose. I seem to get a lot of Sinatra.
    And although I know it's strictly ta-boooo...

Today, however, it's been Jimmy Soul.

  • Classic feel-good song!

  • Literally this loop I came up with using a few chordjam instances lol. I often end up with my own little noodles stuck in my head

  • Also this, which was used brilliantly in the Adam Curtis documentary, Can't get you out of my head

  • Last two days, I don’t mind though

That definitely happens to me too. Sometimes it’s sad because it’s from a project I deleted long ago for whatever reason.

I’ve gotten Sinatra and other music from that era stuck in my noggin more than a few times.

  • unfortunately this...

  • @Gavinski that track you shared is great. reminds me of pan ron

Brilliant Gavin! Nicely done. I too get my own tunes stuck in my head but it does not take much for me as any catchy hook will do. Now, what does one do when you get ear worm (when the same riff gets stuck and plays on over and over again in your head for days and days on end) is that called also, monomania? Annoying, especially when trying to go to sleep! Do you guys have any cure for the dreaded Ear Worm? LOL!
    Cheers, ED

Nice! Sludge Factory is usually what gets stuck in my head if it’s an AiC song.

  • Today’s earworm is brought to you by Ghost

    pretty much this whole album

  • This…and if you don’t know what is a “viola da gamba”, then it will be instructive

  • I get tunes stuck in my head for several months at a time, the most recent one, this stunning song Nem Kaldi:

Although in the last couple of days I heard this Undertones song that threatens to dislodge it:

Listened to nearly halfway but this version didn't appeal to me. Each to their own, eh?
