Bovary (a simple 4 track tape loop made inside Animoog, with some added degradation)

I made this loop while waiting in the car for my wife while she had a priority MRI scan this morning for some episodes of amnesia. I wasn’t allowed in the hospital, so I made some synth things in the car while I waited. To take my mind off things. She’s fine, the doctors say it could be a side effect of the COVID vaccine she took last Wednesday, but there’s no damage to her brain tissue or anything like that. Boy, am I relieved!

Anyway this is all animoog synth with effects from koala, chow tape model, cassette pro (and a touch of black hole). It’s just 4 asynchronous loops of drones really.

    Perhaps (like so much) it was a matter of the right mood, but this worked for me.

    In fifteen minutes I will be leaving to go and commit violence on the racquetball court. It will be loud and hot and shouty with both bodies being hit by the bats and the balls because they always are.

    This is precisely what I needed to calm the self to almost zero and channel my robtic benevolence (it exists but does not alter its behaviour as a result of concerns or feelings). This is music to assassinate to.
