Moog Model 15 AU in Cubasis + sustain

Hey!
1. I know you can midi learn knobs in standalone Model 15, but how can you running in Cubasis 3?
2. Is there a way to enable a sustain pedal in Model 15?

Thanks!

CB3 offers Midi learn for the Steinberg plugins only. For AUs you have to rely on the AU’s native Midi learn.

  • Thank you. So does the AU version of Model 15 have midi learn?

Mappings that you make in the standalone work in the AU. Set up your maps there first and it should work.

  • Awesome, I appreciate it! I'll try it out

  • I believe there's a Moziac script to emulate the behavior of a sustain pedal for any synth.
It holds the sending of the NOTE OFF events until the pedal is released. Of course, most synths have a finite number of notes that can be rendered at any given time so sliding your finger along the white legs will not give you the sound you get from a piano-style instrument.
When the number of max notes is reached the least recently played will be stopped and the sythn will add the new extra note... rinse and repeat.

But for playing chords and giving you that extra time for the change of hand position the script is an excellent toll for most us us. You just route the MIDI into an instance of Mozaic with the correct script loaded and route the output of the Moziac instance into Moog Model 15 and any other apps you want to layer in to the mix.

  • That's a great idea! Thank you.
