AddStation Drum-Loops and Drum-Samples

So I've been working on doing some rhythmic stuff with my obsession - AddStation. :open_mouth: I was recording short samples aimed for Drum Computer and thought I could share what I've done if you wanna use them for something. I think it sometimes sounds a bit like SugarBytes Drum Computer so I was going to see how it work out using the actual thing with samples from the "fake" :D

Thank you, you'll get there in due time. :)

  • Hey, thanks for sharing these. The drum hits sound like resynthesized audio samples, very sci-fi, love it.

Cool! I'm just now playing with them in Koala and have a lot of fun. Gave up on Drum Computer which they were meant for, to complicated to get them through as they drown in all other options :) in there.

These are just audio samples and loops, thus not for AddStation. The samples origin from AddStation and that's all. IF you have Koala I recommend using them there as you can polish and merge and make new sounds from them there. I also made a drumkit in EG Pulse which got ok. :) Maybe you're referring to the packs I made earlier?

Best way to import presets is to long press on the AddStation icon and go through the pop-up menu there, from iCloud then.

  • @Pxlhg Well done!

I'm very close to making a go-get on CubeSynth Pro...
Addictive Pro is another good app for percussive nosies since it allows the oscillators to be frequency modulated or ring modulated, each section has it's own ADSR envelope but no multi-stage ones.

AddStation is nice but I wish it was possible to 're-use' frames without copy & paste.
I guess this is where the CubeSynth/Pro has the edge even though it's only has four 'frames'.

Tera Synth is a quite a beast but hard to master, It does almost everything...

Thanks for sharing the samples :)

I haven't got into the Cube yet, open it a few times and almost immediately get ideas for AddStation :D :D I'm doomed! Jokes aside, I have dome a few patches but I don't have the benefit of an MPE keyboard which seem to be a big part of the "new" I do like the filter animations :D

There's the templates and those are pretty smooth but only covering block states though. I don't think getting part or blocks even from an other file is too much of a hassle but, you're right, it could be smoother.

Yeah, that interface hasn't got much love that's for sure. I open it and just get overwhelmed (not in a good way)

Thanks for sharing the samples :)

    You're most welcome! :)

  • Thank you @Pxlhg nice!

  • Awesome stuff! Thanks so much!

  • Wait a minute, these don’t sound like a LinnDrum. Demerits!

I'm so sorry but, then again, what is a LinnDrum? :)
