iPad like a controller midi for another iPad
is it possible to use an iPad as a controller for another iPad? I wanted to control Korg Gadget, from another iPad by sending midi from the GR16 to the other iPad, is it possible?
Comments
Here I am again with my impossible questions :-D Is there a way to "pilot" Korg Gadget 2 from the GR-16? I would like to play the Korg, using the pads of the Gr-16 and of course then "launch" the various clips using the GR16. I hope I explained myself
Probably, but why exactly? You could run them on the same device. If you cannot link the apps through Audiobus, you could use MIDIFire; it can route anything.
thanks, but i solved with MIDIRTTR, only timing is not good, too many BPM fluctuations
I’ve might have meant MIDIMITTR
Be sure to allow them network access, Settings–>Privacy–>Local Network.
In fact, I also have problems with the "Local Network" midi connection, practically even giving the authorization on both ipads, the midi connection between the GR16 on an ipad and Korg Gadget 2 on the other iPad does not work the same, too bad because it was cool to be able to use the two apps like that
Use midi cables with an audio interface. No latency and solid connection. Midi out from the controller pad, midi in on the instrument pad. I love Thumb Jam as a control surface!
