    My contribution. I have hired a singer on Fiverr for this. Nice experience, at least for me

    Very interesting piece with some great playing. I loved the bass, the guitar breaks and the piano sound. The vocals were great. I’m not sure that the needed all the extraneous noises that were added in.

    Good song with a great groove. It’s nice to hear some real guitars on here for a change.

    Nice vocalist. Care to credit the singer? Also, what kind of direction did you provide?

    Thanks for listening. The singer is "Lupupa" from Fiverr. I can only recommend her to anyone who is looking for a pure, unprocessed and beautiful voice. I provided her the lyrics and melody via 4pockets "lyricist". I basically asked Lupupa to replace the robotic voice with her voice.

    @orchardman thanks for your comment. I have difficulties to make things simple. Even if I know this, I always feel the need to add extra content...this is something I have to change one day...

    That's a great track that would fit in seamlessly into my Spotify listening, I love the vibe and the performance, it's gritty and tuneful and could easily be a commercial release.

    Thank u!. @richardyot we’re some kind of “rara avis” in this iOS music world. Pop, rock. Indie… seems to be a minority. Don’t know why. 🤟🙏

    Well I guess that most people aren't vocalists so that's one reason, so for most musicians doing stuff on their own it's much easier to make electronic music rather than song-based stuff.

    Was debating whether to add this because it is another remix of a Commodore 64 tune (this time by Johannes Bjerregaard). Your mileage might vary due to the prominent SID style lead, unusual portamento and chip tune arpeggios.

    But.. I felt my production skills are getting better, I can’t believe this is all real-time, no freezing in cubasis and the last 2 1/2 minutes is me going off script doing my own thing, trying to go as big as possible, definitely JMJ inspired.

    I’m constantly surprised how my iPad (air 4) is able to run all this stuff, 3 Sunrizers, lots of Zeeon, some gadget synths, DigiStix, Streetlytron, module pro, monologue and some others.

    Very good track and well produced. I think it sounds “full” and is technically very interesting.

    Amazing track. The instrumentation is perfect and it could have been a top track in a more “punk” era. I just miss a little more powerful voice with more…screams. Maybe a little beastie boys flavour…

    Thanks mate!. Yeah, the iPad is just great for guitars, I owned a big bulky Helix and I sold it, I prefer to play to whatever and figure out the sound afterwards, it’s more immediate.

    Thank u so much for the comment. The “shouting” thing has a very, very simple explanation… NEIGHBORS 😄 I’m extremely self-aware about neighbors listening, even if it’s during daytime. Extremely embarrassed about it. I’ve played live hundreds of times, all size audiences… don’t have a stage problem. But give some neighbors or 3 people listening around a sofa and I’m extremely shy. I used to make up for that with some nice falsettos but smoking has taken care of those… Im ok with the limitations, though. Does anyone else have neighbor frightened paranoia?.

  • @cuscolima : same situation with me. Did over 1000 gigs on keys and vocals, but at home...I think about the neighbors and my wife...

  • @cuscolima I actually prefer softer vocals. Shouting is overrated.

    This too. Like when your mom got really mad at you but there people around. Instead of shouting there was that inward mumbling that was scary as shit 😂

  • @richardyot
    Really like the opening that suggests sirens amid a radio broadcast. Yet it seems oddly calm rather than alarming. That’s an especially good set up for the theme of the song.

    @spyrogaia
    Combines a lyrical melody, a strong beat, and epic momentum. This one has a clear and clean production with each instrument standing out from the mix. It may be my favorite from you so far.

    @orchardman
    Really like the change-up from the gentle opening to a more hard-driving main section. That does a great job of reflecting the lyrics and the idea of someone shining.

    @Kitusai
    A real change of pace. It has an improvisational slant, but gels together effectively. Has an open feel. Reminds me of a chilled-out Ornette Coleman. I like this one a lot.

    @timforsyth
    Grabs you right out of the gate. Great beat with enough instrumental variety to keep it interesting throughout. Love the goopy electronic sounds that peek in and out.

    @cuscolima
    Nice back-and-forth tension between the voice and instruments. Especially fine vocals and guitar.

    @tahiche
    Very strong track with excellent production values.

  • @richardyot Beautiful, one of your best sad-pop-sugar-song. The chorus choir followed by a kind of mellotron pattern is top-flower-power at its best. Bravo !

    @DavidEnglish The context of your music gives it a special flavor and perfectly evokes a childlike grace. Time goes by so fast!

    @spyrogaia The Republic of Gadget is definitely amazing! Welcome to the symphony district!

    @orchardman Very good progressive rock that already shines. Your guitar's sound reminds me some from Jethro Tull.

    @timforsyth Yes, definitely JMJ and very well done. I really like the passage at 4'35" and Imht (in my humble taste :-) I would have liked this beautiful atmosphere to be more developed

    @cuscolima Very well done. Special mention to the vocal part. Very interesting voice.

    @tahiche Excellent! What means groin? In French it is the pig nose. I love the sound and feel. My song of the month! Very exciting!

  • Thanks @Kitusai !. The groin is “ l' aine” . I hope you still like it 😜

  • @tahiche No doubt whatever you’re telling about « bitgroin » I enjoy it :smiley:
