iOS15 file copy will now show progress bar
--having something which shows the file sizes will still be missing though (really annoying)

Wow. Widgets, progress bar... and it's still just 2021. What else can they possibly think of? That's some futuristic stuff from Apple right there.
Wow! Before you know it, Files won’t be a confusing morass of panes, popover dialogues, and sidebars having a somewhat worse usability than the file browser of Windows 3.11
If they can somehow integrate the already very promising Audio Crackle into their system architecture (iCrackle could be a catchy name), nothing will stop them.
That s a hell of a feature
Yeah I mean I totally agree basically.
Should have been there a long time before now.
Anyway.. at least copying GoPro footage over to my pad will be a bit less sketchy...
A file size indicator is sorely missing though in my opinion... I never know how much I can copy across... I need to leave a certain amount GB free so I can actually edit the videos...
Maybe there's a better file transfer app on the store, don't know....
Anyone clue?
You can also specify a Files folder to display in the home-screen widget. So you can put arbitrary “folders” on the “desktop.” Radical.
🙌 preorder iCrackle now. Who needs TapePro or ChowTape or Lo-Fi whatever when it’s integrated in iOS?. Only wondering if on the next update we’ll be able to automate it via exposed parameters. It’s nice they’re keeping it updated, loved the “omit crackles for 20 minutes after reboot” option, it provides some variant and keeps things interesting 🤔
I have the iCrackle problem with my iMac and Scarlett interface, so maybe it’s been recently ported from desktop to iOS.
Cutting edge stuff.
You forgot to add game changing and instabuy, otherwise I endorse this message. 👍
The crackle is gone for me in 15
On the desktop very long estimates on the update bars were never accurate, but it gives the user a bit of feedback about operations, so it’s useful as far as that goes. At least a person knows something is still happening.
