😂 That's a good one that would puzzle even those musician friends who hate FM
OMG I love Nintendo!
Don't they usually say 1-up?
That there's a nice tee.
OT (kind of) but I really want Inphonik to port over their 4-op:

Yeah, totally want this on iOS. FM4EVA.
That would be cool indeed
btw... it was weird, but I miss iYM2151
yeah, one of the first interesting synths on ios , i bought it on my partner’s ipad before i even got one of my own ( how many years is it now? ) .. it was pretty pricey at the time (£20?) it was a DeTune thing so I can’t believe korg haven’t made it a Gadget by now!!
jesu! i’ve just looked it up ... it was $35 when it first came out!
I bet that $35 was a cracking deal at the time.
I've just looked it up too. It seems they made some bold design decisions.
"iYM2151 not only tries to recreate the 80’s FM sound, but it also recreates the experience of working with an 80’s FM interface."

(still interested, btw)
This one is the real deal.
I wish I could find a soft solution that imports/translates legacy Yamaha .syx. There are a number of them that read 6-Op (like Dexed) but haven't anything that works well for 4-Op.
Yeah, sadly, there aren't many options for 4op synths. The only one which I found which supports TX81Z sysex is a really old M4L synth. https://www.ableton.com/en/packs/classic-synths/
And nothing on iOS.
OK, in response to popular demand, you can now buy this image on a t-shirt (or other swag: buttons, mugs, tote bags, whatever..) Note: I make almost nothing on this. 90+% of what you're paying goes to the cost of the materials and printing, etc. I'm just doing this in case anyone really wants to show their FM 4-Op love. Enjoy!

Many options available. Create your own.
Tips: Zazzle offers frequent discount codes. For example right now you can save 15% with code: DREAMDETAILS. Also, note that the site defaults to the most expensive shipping option, so be sure to change it to "Standard" to save on shipping.
Tip#2: I unfortunately set up this listing using the Women's V-neck tee, which is one of the most expensive options. Click "see more" under Style, and you can select the Basic T-shirt, which is half the price, and better suited for men (which is probably 99% of this list).
Sorry, trying to figure out how to make the Basic the default option, but this site is all new to me.
Finally managed to figure out how to set this up properly on the Zazzle site. Here is a link, if you're enough of an FM nerd to want this t-shirt:

Remember to use the discount code and choose standard shipping for maximum savings.
You'll never look this cool, but you can try..
