Multitrack Daw - Midi Mapping?
Hi, Multitrack Daw has input for external midi controller? I didn't find anything, not even where you do midi mapping.
Thanks

No MIDI input at the moment for AUs hosted in MTD. You can use AU which have their own built in sequencers and internal audio such as DigiStix or DigiKeys, or you have to manually play in your music using the supplied keyboard.
It does play nicely with apeMatrix though so you can feed it audio this way if you have MIDI you want to play alongside audio recordings: https://forum.audiob.us/discussion/45519/mt-daw-controls-apematrix-timeline
so sad. I just bought it believing this would be the basics in a DAW. At least for midi control pedals. But I thank the friend for the information.
I asked on the Harmonic Dog forum...maybe soon?

I opened a thread there requesting this external Midi feature. I think the requests are so many that they will feel obligated to implement.
But provisionally to trigger start/stop with an external midi pedal, you can do it by opening Audiobus and Multitrack Daw will also run. It's not ideal, but it was the least I needed.
