How can I get more volume from AUM?
I was wondering if there were any tips on how to get a louder output from the AUM app? I'm having to turn my iPad and the faders up high to get decent volume out. However, that volume compared to YouTube or say Prime Loopcommunity tracks is way lower. With that, my midi keyboards' volume don't match the volume on the rest of the apps. Hope this question makes sense and hopefully someone can help. Thanks!

I think you answered your question: turn up the faders. Watch the output level meters and avoid going into the red.
What is the typical output level that AUM's meters are displaying?
What specifically are you running that isn't coming out loud enough?
AUM also has a Gain tool that can be added on any channel including the master output. It is then visible for fine adjustments in addition to the channel volume slider.
Depending on how you're listening (iPad speakers, phones, audio interface to speakers), the iPad volume control may also be involved. You might check it.
Depends on context really ... compression - the dark art used by desk wizard - can re-arrange what has prominence in a mix - make some aspects louder and others less so ... but if you just want more output so the neighbours can hear better then you're after external powered speakers or the like. Ipads are pretty excellent but there are physical limits.
Fac Maxima or rx950...and don’t forget to look on the back of the rx950 for the brilliance button...

Bark Filter does that for me on the iPad speakers and my crappy 5 dollar headphones, can’t vouch for high end whatever but it somehow seems to magically do the trick to sound louder to me, myself and I. Highly likely won’t sound so great on big systems, but hey, you didn’t specify what you want to achieve on what kind of system?

The Trippleband preset does the trick.
