Midi controllers for couch potato
So i have a proper midi keyboard... but i realise what i like most is vegetating on my sofa with my ipad and designing sounds. Still it would be nice to have a midi (notes) controller to actually play my synths with (KB1 is great but you run out of screen space quickly). I had a Roli lightpad block for a while which i thought would work but turns out not to give reliable control when not a stable surface.
Does anyone have other suggestions? Ive been looking at a sensel morph but i’m worried the touch control also won’t work very well balanced on my lap/the sofa. Any fellow sofa spuds got experience with this?

Korg nanokey studio works well for me. The Bluetooth connection comes in handy on the sofa.

I approve this message.
Nanokey studio looks cool too, Bluetooth is a good idea. Vaguely wondering if there might be an updated version sometime with a usb-c port (i still have a dream of not needing a bajilion cables and adapters)
If you have a game controller handy, check out MIDITROL. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/miditrol/id1504524252
I'm curious - does this work well?
My launchpad accompanies me on the couch very often. The custom banks give me all the control I need although it doesn’t quite satisfy like a keybed does. As a guitar player though, the layout makes a lot of sense to me
@orand intriguing... looks like you have to fight a bit with iOS to have it run (doesn't look like it runs as an auv3 or audiobus app)
