What’s the best way to get midi out of apps like Fugue Machine (and not just audio)?
I’m new to iPad music and not new to doing this stuff on a Mac. I’m hoping to get patterns out of apps like Fugue Machine to write midi parts to then open up in Logic or Ableton. I’ve tried this is GarageBand and can’t see how to get midi notes to record in, instead of audio.
Any thoughts on best ways to do this? Happy to invest in another DAW on iPad if there’s something that works best.

AUM to host Fugue Macine then Helium or Atom2 to record?
Quick example using Helium
Here’s how to “wire up”
Thanks - I’m not able to get it working but I think that’s because I’m new to both Helium and AUM and just don’t really get how they work. Might need to see if I cash learn more about how they work on YouTube or something. If you had any other thoughts about how to get it working I’d appreciate it!
It should be super easy.
I’m an idiot. Working now. Thanks!

In the standalone version there are pre built patterns. How can you export these to import into the AUv3 version? Ta
For me, they already show up in the orange preset folder button in the AUM AU window.
