Sequencing AUM File Player
Is there a way to sequence the aum file player using notes so that it continuously repeats for a while? I’ve tried Atom, Drambo, StepBud, Fugue Machine and Riffer and when notes are triggered without reste between AUM is toggling playback on each note even though toggle mode is not enabled. At 90 bpm I need to leave a 1/16 rest and at 240 bpm I need 1/8 rest to get the next cycle to start playing reliably.
It doesn’t seem like an ordering problem since all the sequencers are sending a note off before a note on. All except atom appear to be sending explicit note off and atom seems to send note on with velocity 0 so that’s not it either.
Anyone else run into this before?

You can just set it to loop, and/or change the beat offset. You can then trigger the volume or mute/unmute button with CC or notes.
Edit - I’m not sure this is what you were looking for, but hope it helps.
Thanks, but mute behaves the exact same way.
Ahh. Right on.
Helpful thread. Never even thought about muting file player. Could be useful for arranging as I find Cubasis 3 clicks and pops often with audio files.
