Drambo game control
Huh?
Yes, these little 2x AAA battery powered Bluetooth game controllers can now be mapped directly inside Drambo.
I've just tried it as a Bluetooth remote keyboard in Drambo and after setting the correct mode, it works! 😍
Power it on, hold "@ and B" on the controller and start MIDI learn in Drambo.
I've mapped tap tempo to D (bottom), loop mode to C (top), play to B (left), record to A (right) and switching between scene A and B is joystick down.
Since it actually sends different "MIDI notes" upon pressing and releasing a button, it can even be used as a looper controller that gives you instant access to a function not natively available in Drambo: Hold a button to record live in Flexi, let go the button when done and the loop starts playing immediately.

Do you have the name of the controller?
Searching for "joystick bluetooth remote control" on ebay should give you enough hits.
Lolol awesome!
Oh man can you map a ps4 controller or just that Switch controller?
Probably PS4 too…. I use an XBox controller on iPad for games. Havent tried Drambo with it yet,
I have connected a PS4 controller via Bluetooth to play some games, but I was curious about other applications particularly using it with music. I saw this thread and was curious if it worked directly with drambo. I know there’s an app Miditrol, that aids in this process, but if you can connect it directly to drambo with out any additional apps that would be dope.
What do you mean be the correct mode?
This should be the same setup for any BT controller that’s compatible correct?
Hmm I think I should be able to use my Oculus Rift S’ Touch controllers for this. (Coincidentally I was just playing with a modular synth app in VR which is pretty damn cool if you ask me! Would I be able to make any publishable music with it? Probably not, but the novelty of it is quite interesting!)
The one I have supports different control modes and not all of them work for remote control on iOS.
Unlikely. I'd expect different controllers to have different setup procedures but I only know the one I've talked about.
Cheers. Thanks. I’ll have to investigate a little.
Does it work when loaded as an AUV3?
can you map a keyboard to drambo? edit: yes you can, but only on standalone, and iOS doesn't send a keyUP signal, only keyDOWN
It’s a game changer
