Want: a bare bones AB2 aware vocoder app
It lives in two effects slots. One is the carrier and one is the modulator.
An N band EQ (ala voice synth), presets and midi triggerable bypass would all be splendid but unnecessary additions. Adding a simple osc/filter combo or loop able sample player would make it work without AB I reckon but there are already vocoders out there that do that sort of thing. None yet that will allow me to use sunrizer along with, say, an auria vocal track. (Is there?)
I'm posting this in case a dev is lurking considering a next project. I imagine there are c/c++ libraries in the wild already for making the core of this a reality on the quickish.

Have you tried playing with the vocoder in SunVox? I may be misunderstanding you, but I think you could do what you're looking for with that. Here's a video...
I don't know the terminology you are using but I remember the ivoxel demos showing Loopy providing the vocals and another app providing notes... Is that what you are talking about?

Wouldn't have to be two separate apps? I'd be just as happy with a good vocoder in Auria.
Thanks fellas. @hmtx I had no idea ivoxel did that!
I grabbed iVoxel but haven't had a chance to play with it yet. It's got many features I was unaware of that sound like fun, plus the feature I was after.
I still think there is a room in the market for a much more slimmed down AB loving vocoder app. One trick pony that does its trick efficiently and really well. There are two guys that hang out here occasionally that have a history of making AB effects apps that fit that description. </end cough>
